6 MARKING Each claim for a petrol engine system shall be clearly and indelibly marked with the following information: (a) The name and address of the manufacturer or distributor. (b) The recommended storage conditions (if applicable). (c) The maximum shelf life, indicated in the form of a ‘use-by’ date, assuming storage conditions as recommended in Item (b). (d) A safety warning, if applicable. (e) For additives, the contents of additive on all packaging. (f) A statement on all packaging of vehicle suitability (i.e. pre- or post- 1985 model vehicles). (g) A statement of any condition under which application of a device, additive or process is not applicable. NOTE: Manufacturers making a statement of compliance with this Australian Standard on a product, packaging, or promotional material related to that product are advised to ensure that such compliance is capable of being verified.AS 4430.1 pdf download.
