A flexible knitted/woven device located beneath the trampoline bed for the purpose of arresting a ground impact in the event of a bed failure.
1.3.35 Redundant system
A method of protecting patrons and staff from a catastrophic event with a device. Examples include: a redundant net, attenuated material under a device suitable to break a fall of a predetermined height, double thickness trampoline beds such that, if one tears, the second will prevent a fall and indicate that the bed requires immediate replacement, and an overhead harness that will limit the participant from any impact in the event of losing contact with a device.AS 5159.1 pdf download.
