BS EN 16977:2020 pdf free.Thermal insulation products for buildings – Factory made calcium silicate [CS) products一Specification.
BS EN 16977 This document specifies the characteristics for factory made calcium silicate (CS) products with or without lamination or coating intended to be used for the thermal insulation of buildings. This document is applicable for materials with the main crystal phases Xonotlite and Tobermorite with or without Wollastonite. This document is applicable for products which are manufactured in the form of boards, segments and prefabricated ware. This document is applicable for multi-layered CS products. The products covered by this documents can be used in roofs, walls, ceilings and floors. This document specifies procedures for assessment and verification of constancy of performance (AVCP) of characteristics of factory made calcium silicate products (CS).This document does not cover: products intended to be used for the insulation of building equipment and industrial installations; products intended to be used for civil engineering works; with a declared thermal conductivity greater than 0,078 W/(mK) at10。C; aerated concrete, autoclaved aerated concrete, mineral foam insulating products and sand-lime
bricks;in situ insulation products. No special conditioning of the test specimens is needed unless otherwise specified in the test standard. In case of dispute, the test specimens shall be stored at (23士2) °C and (50土5) % relative humidity for at least 6 h prior to testing. For FPC no special conditioning of the test specimens is needed. When cut from boards test specimens shall be stored in an atmosphere of (23+2)°C and (50+5) % relative humidity until stabilization at constant weight is achieved. Stabilization is obtained when the relative change in weight does not exceed 0,5 % between two consecutive weekly measurements. In case of dispute, the following stepwise procedure shall be carried out: 一 Step 1 [dry reference): The specimens are stored for 72h at [70 + 2)。C, in an oven ventilated with an air taken at [23+ 2) °C and (50士5) % relative humidity, and then weighed. The mass of the test specimen at Step 1 is mdry.BS EN 16977 pdf download.
