BS EN 4855-04 1 Scope This European standard describes a test procedure to identify performance characteristics and a weight rating of beverage maker products used on aircraft. Furthermore it describes the calculation procedure to determine an energy consumption index and a performance index. The duration to achieve this amount of hot water shall be recorded. The temperature of the hot water shall never decrease below 70 °C. The temperature shall be measured at the water outlet. For water heaters: While tapping at least 4,5 l hot water, the energy consumption and the duration for this cycle shall be measured. The temperature of the hot water shall never decrease below 70 °C. The temperature shall be measured at the water outlet.The following information shall be given in a test report: a) type of equipment incl. equipment PN and SN; b) empty weight;
